Forty people including students, faculty and alumni donated their time to improve the Penn State Mont Alto Arboretum during the “Every Day is Arbor Day” event on April 22.

On March 30, the WITF documentaries “Mira Lloyd Dock: A Beautiful Crusade” and “Gifford Pinchot’s Conservation Legacy” will provide the basis for a panel discussion about the history and future of conservation and how to develop conservation leaders for the 21st century. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the General Studies Building Auditorium at Penn State Mont Alto. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
The Penn State Mont Alto Office of Admissions will host its Spring Open House for prospective students and their families on April 2 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Activities Center (MAC) on campus.
Penn State Mont Alto will hosted a campus symposium on the topic “What is Privilege?” on March 21, in the Wiestling Student Center on campus. The program discussed privilege from all angles — what it is, who has it, who doesn’t, and what that means for our society.
